The 2018 HARBOR YOUTH CONFERENCE is a three-day event providing a platform for students of Boys & Girls Harbor to voice their opinions, demonstrate their knowledge, and propose imaginative and sound solutions to a number of timely issues affecting adults and children alike, including:

  • Equity: gender equity; equal access to quality education; the right to decent housing; the right to livable wages; equitable access to healthy food.
  • Justice: confronting bullies and those who abuse their power; protecting the vulnerable and the disenfranchised.
  • Human Dignity: embracing diversity; promoting health and safety; youth empowerment through community involvement; defending the Dreamers; seeking permanent solutions.
